Nowhere Will These Two Lines Appear Further Apart Than at the Point You Stand Between Them
This piece consists of two parallel lines of black tape--spaced about 16" apart--that stretch approximately 60' across the gallery floor. At each end of the parallel lines is a 16" x 20" mirror that stands upright and perpendicular to the floor.

In the same way that one gets a sense of distance when standing in a city street and looking off towards the horizon, this piece aims to give viewers a similar experience by extending space beyond the confines of the gallery walls and inviting viewers to consider their placement in space and how that phenomenon shapes the way one perceives, shapes, and understands the world.
